Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to Sorted, a product of Abstraxn (“Abstraxn”, “we”, “us”). Sorted lets you chat with connected provider assistants (MCPs) — for example food and grocery connectors — and place orders through those providers in one place.

By creating an account or using Sorted, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Sorted is an interface and aggregator. We route your requests to third-party providers you connect, show their catalogues, carts, and checkout flows, and help you pay where the provider supports it. Providers — not Sorted — fulfil orders, set prices, delivery times, availability, and their own terms.

Features may change, pause, or be limited by region, connector status, or your spend limits. We do not guarantee that any provider, dish, or product will be available.

3. Your account

You must provide a real, lasting email address (Google sign-in or email one-time code). Temporary or disposable inboxes are not allowed. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to that email.

You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law. Do not share your login codes. Tell us if you believe your account has been misused.

4. Connectors

Connecting a provider (for example Domino’s via OTP, or another connector via OAuth or credentials) authorises Sorted to call that provider on your behalf: search, cart, address, and checkout as the provider’s tools allow.

• Connector sessions, tokens, and selected delivery addresses are stored so chat can keep working.
• Each provider’s terms, privacy policy, and refund rules apply to orders placed with them.
• You can disconnect a connector in Sorted; that does not cancel orders already placed with the provider.

5. Orders, prices, and payment

Prices, taxes, fees, and ETAs shown in Sorted come from the provider at request time. Confirm them before you pay. Sorted is not the seller of the goods.

Where you pay through Sorted (for example UPI), the payment is processed so the provider can complete the order. Failed, delayed, or reversed payments are handled under the provider’s and payment provider’s rules. Refunds and cancellations are between you and the connected provider.

6. Spend limits

You may set checkout limits in Sorted (for example a maximum order amount or allowed items). Those rules are enforced in Sorted before we submit a paying action. They are not a bank product and do not replace the provider’s own checks.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Abuse OTP, login, or connector APIs (including using throwaway emails or automated account farming).
• Interfere with Sorted, scrape it unreasonably, or reverse-engineer except as allowed by law.
• Place fraudulent orders or misuse another person’s payment method or address.
• Use Sorted to break the law or a provider’s rules.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Intellectual property

Sorted, the Sorted mark, and our software are owned by Abstraxn. Provider names, logos, menus, and product images belong to those providers. You get a limited, revocable licence to use Sorted for your own personal ordering — not to copy or resell the service.

9. Disclaimers

Sorted is provided “as is”. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free provider data, or that chat suggestions are complete. We are not liable for provider outages, wrong menus, late delivery, food quality, or losses caused by your device or network.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Abstraxn’s total liability arising from Sorted is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us for Sorted in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) INR 1,000. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the provider’s performance of an order.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If a change is material, we will try to notice you in the product or by email.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law requires otherwise.
